Regulated property

Land in Bulgaria can be regulated for construction of one or more dwellings, or it may be classified for agriculture, industry or purposes other than residential. In a purchasing contract should always be mentioned the regulation of the property. The existence of a house on a plot of land does not guarantee that the plot is regulated for a dwelling. Many houses have been built outside the regulations.

If you are offered land not regulated for residential property your lawyer must find out if the municipality are willing to regulate it.
